Already term 4! This year is flying by!  First day back at school we went on the playground to play 4 step tag! This was the hook for our writing cycle. In the second week, we made huts in the hall for writing! Can't wait to see what is next...

Room 3 have been learning how to use the reach technique to rescue someone who might be struggling in the water. They had to use a pool noodle to assist their buddy get to the edge of the pool and out of the water safely. We practiced this in still water and in rough water!  .      

Room 3's Calendar Art!

This week we have been learning about nets for 3D shapes. We have used templates of nets to create our own 3D shapes! We were given the challenge to create our own net for a 3D shape and turn it into a shape monster. We drew 2D shapes on coloured paper and cut them out for the arms, legs antennas, and wings to create the perfect shape monster. Soon, we are going to name our monster and identify the different types of angles and lines in our monster's name. Check out some of our 3D shape monsters.
